On Tuesday, April 14, the American Society of Civil Engineers will hold a one-day workshop, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in Honolulu on ways\u00a0to increase the sustainability of Hawaii’s infrastructure and engineering projects.<\/p>\n
William Wallace, inventor of the Envision\u00a0sustainable infrastructure rating system, will\u00a0deliver the keynote address. Other speakers include Honolulu Department of Planning and Permitting Director George Atta, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Engineering & Construction Division chief Todd Barnes, and attorney Ian Sandison of Carlsmith Ball, LLP, which is co-sponsoring the event.<\/p>\n
Registration is limited to 80 seats and costs $25 for ASCE student chapter members, $60 for ASCE Hawaii section members and $75 for non-members.
